Look, I’m blogging! Aren’t I good…
I’m moving hosts this month I hope…don’t want to cos I like it here but there we go, needs must 😉
Cyberpixels messed up all the database and everything..they did restore them, but I lost all my counter stats so I started TDP from 0 again. Look at it! 1116 hits since 26th April o_0 1116 hits in exactly 2 weeks! How cool is that?!
Whee! Happy! Plus Petz Island show results came up yesterday and I got three places and three new champs, as if that wasn’t enough all 3 placements were Winners Circle!
This is boring innit? 😉

and I don’t mean the group 😉 I decided to give my Guinea Pigs a bath today…I washed them in a mite/flea/lice shampoo so it should get rid of the scurf and any scats (static lice which most pigs have) if they had them. It went surprisingly well!
They’re so lovely and soft and cuddly and shiny now! As well as getting rid of the scurf it was a trial run for when I show them in May (and, btw, the pig show on Saturday was fab!)
I still need a new run though…

I just found out that one of the people I went to school with has died…
It was expected, he had Muscular Dystrophy, and I didn’t know him especially well but it’s still a shock…I’ve known him since we were 4, I was in the same class as him for years, gradually saw him deteriorating. He died 2 or 3 weeks ago, at the age of 14.
I’ll write more later…

I suppose in my position it’s easy to think of what you’ve lost…so to be different I’ve been thinking of what I’ve gained 😀
When I was first at Primary (around 4-7 years old) I had a few friends, and everything was fine 😉 When I was in year 3 a new girl joined us. I was her first friend, but then the next 3 years (she was a year older than me so up till I was in year 5) I seemed to spend my whole life caught between her and another girl – it was almost constant arguments and changing sides!
When I started Secondary I was already poorly, so I was hardly there anyway…now the friend I’d moved from Primary with grouped up with some other girls, and their interests were totally different to mine. Now, I don’t think it would have made any difference if I was there full time.
Now, thanks to not being at school at all I have some of the best friends I’ve ever had. They may live hundreds (or the other side of the world in one case! ;-)) of miles away, but I can talk to them every day (or almost every day) and meet up when I’m well enough 🙂 Or sooner if they’d like a nice Somerset holiday…! (Suzie recommends them I hope…unless I scared her off ;-):-D)
So what if I leave school with no GCSEs, plenty of time for that later 🙂 At the moment I’m trying to get an exemption so I can do a Web Design course at SCAT (Somerset College of Arts and Technology). So hopefully that’ll go through, then I can get a qualification and have the ability to run my own Web Design company when I’m 16!
So yes, no matter how much one loses there’s always something to be gained from it 🙂 I have a lovely hamster, two gorgeous guinea pigs, a smashing dog, a wonderful rabbit, great parents and amazing friends 🙂
Now if it would just STOP raining and hailing so I can go to West Hatch or something! And I’ll shut up now 😳
