Sorry – I’ve just been too unbelievably tired to think about doing anything 😉 So you get a very long one now (I hope) written over a few days.

Garden centre was excellent. Lunch took a while to come but not too bad considering the quantities (15 of us, having lots of different things. From memory two chicken curries, two liver and onions, lasagne, sausage and chips, omelette, two jacket potatoes with different fillings, 2 big breakfasts (I think they consisted of toast/fried bread (they both chose toast), two eggs and some bacon, not sure if there was anything else too) and 4 other things!). For drinks there were a lot of cans of various fizzy drinks, two milkshakes (one vanilla one chocolate) and 3 or 4 bottles of water.
There were pigeons that kept wanting to come inside and they succeeded twice whilst we were there, it’s very entertaining to watch people running round trying to herd pigeons back outside! After that we went and had a look at the animals, there was a snoring pig! Honestly, though I think you’d have to see/hear it to get the full effect 😆

Tuesday was ok, nothing special. Even though I do need the op he wants to wait 6 months to see if I can get stronger first.

Wednesday was ultra embarassing, we got our certificates. But he had a very nice mini buffet thing with fruit and what not, it was delicious. In the morning we planted some seeds, then the afternoon was the certs and then a walk round the garden. All over till September now!

Thursday we’re going to look at see if the local care and nursing homes have PAT dogs (*cackles* I linked it to the Professional Association of Teachers by accident at first) and if they do we’re going to see if we can get Vale registered so I can take her. Also going to contact Dogs for the Disabled and see if there’s anyway we can get her registered as a \”companion\” sort of dog so I can take her into shops with me.

Friday I can’t actually remember if I did anything 😆 so we’ll skip that! The weekend was nice and quiet, as were Monday and Tuesday – much needed after that week.

Wednesday (yesterday) was assistant Di’s birthday, she usually keeps it quiet, but as Cannington has finished now and that class has the bus on Wednesdays she thought they’d go out somewhere this year. So mum made more cake and it was one of her best yet, as far as design goes.
A couple/few weeks ago their class had gone down to the canal and it’d been really nice, the Cannington after they’d told me all about it and that they’d thought of me and how much I’d like it.
So anyway! To cut a long story short that’s where she decided to go. We got down to the canal at about quarter to eleven, they were already there (meant to be there are half ten but it was a bit further than mum thought it was and we got stuck behind a lorry).

We had a drink and then went for a slow amble along the canal, it was absolutely beautiful! It was threatening to rain all morning, but somehow it stayed dry. There was no sign of any ducks or swans on the walk up, but when we turned round and walked back we saw a duck with a younger duck. Then we had a picnic on the bank, by the time we’d finished they had to get back to school so they’d be in time for the buses to take them home. It was a really nice day and Di decided she’d have to make her birthday public more often 😉

Ok, I think that’s quite long enough! I haven’t got anything on tomorrow so in the cause of saving energy I’ll skip that day and grace you with my ramblings on Saturday 😆

I’m really enjoying doing so much but I know I shouldn’t be and I am paying for it by sleeping a lot more and feeling a lot tireder all the time. Next week is another action packed one though! Last week of term so they’re coming over here for a BBQ on Monday, their Fun Day (similar to sports day I think) on Wednesday and then the Leavers thingy on Friday, which we’re going to as it’ll be more than half (5 of the 9) of Di’s (confusing – two Dis 😉 Assistant Di and teacher Di. Otherwise known as Dif and Dim since Daniel wrote their labels for Crealy and put their surname initials on without leaving a space or capitals – so Di M was Dim and Di F was Dif ;)) class.

Then it’s the end of term, but I’m hoping to see a few of them in the holidays. And that really is long enough! So I shall wander off now, almost lunch time anyway.
