Well, apparently it’s summer! There are gale type winds and extremely heavy rain, but it is summer! Ah well…

We were meant to be picking fruit and then having a picnic today but obviously with the weather as it was that wasn’t possible, so we went up to the yard and did the animals instead 🙂

They have the most gorgeous piebald miniature shetland pony, I’ve claimed him as mine! He feels like mine, I just don’t seem him very often or have any of the expense 😛

I groomed him, which is about the only thing I’m able to do up there (the enclosures for the rabbits, ferrets..etc are stables and they have a little step thing so I can’t get in) and because he’s a mini shetland I can reach every part of him for grooming!

They have no combs or body brushes and they lack a decent dandy brush though, I keep meaning to bring mine then forgetting. So next time I shall! I’m also going to get some pictures so you can admire the handsomeness of my Sweep too 🙂

As my birthday was yesterday we took (another) cake which went down well! It’s Selworthy’s summer fete on Saturday and we’ve been invited to that. Of course, typically at the moment the weather forecast is sunny tomorrow (Thursday), sunny on Friday, heavy rain Saturday, sunny on Sunday and sunn y on Monday! Bags I the hot dogs (inside) rather than the bottle stall (outside)…

According to Suzie I’m required to explain yesterdays entry, so in short I was feeling incredibly poorly and was barely concious at the time 😉 thus felt dead!

Ahh I can finally slow down a bit till Saturday, I seem to have been constantly on the go for the last week or two.
