Heya!

We had a powercut earlier…for no apparent reason! It wasn’t particularly wet and it wasn’t windy. Oh well, power still went off for over an hour. Good job we were gonna have pasta for lunch anyway ^_~

Mmm…other news…petz.com should be releasing the last 2 breeds today. Or maybe tomorrow GMT. I’m pretty certain that the last dog breed’ll be a JRT. Which is worrying seeing as the petz 4 circus host was meant to be a JRT…for those of you that have never played petz it looks extremely unrealistic. They’d better have changed it since then! The last cat breed I’m more uncertain about, but I reckon maybe an Egyptian Mau…

Worked on TDP a lot today. Again. Got a review back yesterday ^_^. Will someone do a link exchange with me?! I want a really long list of links and loads of links to silversand.org everywhere ^_~

Whee! New layout! Very simple, very colourful, very effective. In my opinion. However, I forgot the home link….again….I’ll redo the image map (menu) tomorrow and add it…too tired tonight!

Isn’t life annoying sometimes? This laptop really has reached it’s limit for the things I make it do. It’s crashing at least twice a day, needs restarting every couple of hours, frequently gives me messages about not having enough memory and other things. It has a CD-rom and a floppy disk drive but you can only put one in at once and it’s such a chore to change them I basically live with the floppy disk drive in.

Two metres away from me I have a lovely new computer. It has a 30GB harddisk, 128MBs of RAM, runs Windows ME (Don’t care what anyone says, I think it’s great ^_~), is lovely and fast, has both a floppy disk drive and a cd-rom drive as well as a snazzy button below the on button which you press in an emergency and it restarts. It also operates my webcam.

But I can’t get to it. Which is annoying the hell out of me! It’s got to the stage now I can barely open Petz. Sometimes it won’t open at all, other times it opens for a bit only to crash and lose all the things I’ve done. Gah!

I could rant about this for hours ^_~ Also, I preordered SIMS Unleashed, so I got it as soon as it came out in the UK. You know, there’s nothing more frustrating than getting a new computer game and then not being able to play it! Well actually there is, but that’s beside the point…

It works on my new computer, I’ve installed it on said computer and I’ve managed to play it for about an hour in total. Oh yes, and a number of months ago this laptop developed a highly annoying habbit of frequently beeping at me for no reason. So I had to resort to turning the sound off. I’ve been working without sound for months…

Also, have you noticed how about 2/3rds of internet surfers/website makers seem to use 1024×768 these days? This laptop has the most AWFUL graphics card. Apart from the quality of my colours being awful (some blues looking grey, bright colours looking dull..etc) it has two screen res. 640×480 and 800×600. So many layouts only work in 1024×768 these days, which is really annoying. Plus when I used my old computer I used 1024×768 res. The new computer, on the other hand works in a range of screen res’s. Including 1024×768 ^_~

On a lighter note my wheelchair did arrive yesterday! It’s very smart..I can’t use it outdoors yet (I have to have a driving lesson and such first =P) but I’m no-where near confident enough to want to use it outside yet anyway.

Ok, I’m done ^_~ *hears sighs of relief* I’m impressed you got this far…

Ok, I’ve been meaning to write this since 22nd…oh well.

Some of you may know a while ago I had an assesment for an EPIOC
(Electrically Powered Indoor Outdoor Chair).

Well I got a letter this morning, for delivery of it on October 28th! I
don’t know if I dare believe it. I’m expecting the worse, that way it can
only be a pleasent surprise ^_~

I’ve more or less been bedbound for a year now, and this chair will
hopefully give me more independance. I’ll be able to get out more, go and
look at a college I want to look at, hopefully spend more time out of bed…

It’s a tilt and recline and these are the last ones they’re going to make –
after these they’re not going to make any with both the recline and tilt
functions, so I’m just in time. It’s amazing! The back can recline as fully
so you’re completely lying down, if not slightly tilted downwards.(that’s
the recline ^_~)

The whole chair tips backwards (that’s the tilt ^_~) so I won’t have to hold
myself up as I have to with just a recline feature. Plus both features are
controlled electrically on the same control panel as the joystick.

It has foot rests with calf pads, pads that fit round the side of my body to
provide extra support and a seatbelt.

The tilt works the other way too…have you ever seen those adverts for the
electric chairs (proper chairs not wheelchairs) where they make them go
fowards so you can get out easily?
If you have it does that too ^_~ though obviously that’s no use to me at
the moment. I can’t even sit up on my own let alone stand!

It will come in useful in the future though.

Ok, I thought it was about time I sat down and gave you a big long update ^_~ I’m writing this offline yet again…So here we go…we’ll start with a few facts.

Ok. Erm..actually there’s nothing TO update! *Sings to Queen* My secret project’s going well. TDP swamped me in emails again and I came up with a new adoption centre system. Yes Suzie, it’s perfect! Not downloadable, better, but nice and easy for me! *Happy sigh*

And I bred loads of petz! Loads. I’ve bred Silver’s, Silver/KK’s, Silver/K9’s, Silver/SK’s and Silver/Paradiz lines. In the near future some Silver/Dragon lines probably too. Mmmm…that sums everything up. All I’ve done is bred petz and worked on TDP. Oh well. We can’t all be lucky enough to have lives ^_~. Ooo, and I did lots of Neopets. Lots and lots of Neopets. Now I’ve opened petz and I’m trying to take some pictures of these petz I bred for the adoption graphics.

Realistically? There’s about a 5% chance that I’ll come visit ;o) When we move, if we have enough $$$ left, mum wants to go to England and I want to visit you, so she’s bribed me with a Vickyness-Visit so I’ll go with her ;o).. BUT! If mum or nan wins the lottery, then I’ve been promised that there’s a 95% chance that can visit you ::nods again:: But that’s not very likely anyway ;o).. Oh well! There is a BIT of a chance! ;o)
